Helldivers 2 Hits Over 200 Thousand Concurrent Players on Steam

Helldivers 2, a sequel to Arrowhead's shooter game, was released on February 8, 2024. Even though it had a bumpy start, with lots of crashes, matchmaking issues, and login troubles, as neither the developer nor publisher Sony expected the game to become a hit, Helldivers 2 has attracted hundreds and thousands of people all over the world.

On February 14, Helldivers 2 achieved a new milestone of witnessing 203,644 concurrent players. For now, it's the second-best result among the recently launched games.

The first spot took Palworld, leading the ranking with 2.1 million players, while Enshrouded followed in third place with 160 thousand. The top five included Granblue Fantasy: Relink with 114 thousand players and Tekken 8 with 49.9 thousand players.

Speaking of Palworld, the game recently saw a decline in its playerbase, and Pocketpair's Community Manager addressed the change saying that it's okay to have some time away from games or play something different.
