Senior Character Artist, known only as Nishas, has showcased Odin Alföðr, a stunning high-poly 3D model of Norse mythology's chief god Odin, created as a personal project.
Inspired by Yong Yi Lee's "Alfodr, the Wizard" illustration and Santa Monica's God of War Ragnarök, the model boasts an impressive amount of details, realistic surfaces, and great anatomy, which, according to the author, were achieved by following by making the shots as close as possible to the high poly renders from GoW. To set up the character, the artist utilized Maya, ZBrush, and Marvelous Designer, as well as Marmoset Toolbag, used to render the model in real-time.
