CG/VFX Artist known as FloorYUKA continues to experiment with Unreal Engine with one more jaw-dropping project that blurs the line between reality and the digital world. Inspired by the ongoing holiday season and winter in general, the new project pushes photorealism to the next level by depicting a marvelous snow-covered Japanese-style street that looks nearly indistinguishable from reality.
According to the author, the scene was set up in Unreal Engine with the help of Sky Creator, a robust plug-in developed by Dmitry Karpukhin that lets its user control dynamic weather and time of day using realistic volumetric clouds, atmosphere, and visual effects.

Back in May 2023, the author utilized Unreal Engine in combination with Photorealistic 3D Tiles, a geodata tool developed by Google and Cesium that offers a seamless 3D mesh model of our entire planet, to set up a digital copy of Earth capable of running in real-time:
