Horror Game VFX That Bend Reality Like Remedy's Control
Psych Rift's newest update.
Game Developer Beast Knight, whose game Psych Rift we recently featured, has shared a new update, experimenting with VFX to craft a surreal, supernatural horror experience.
The video was captured in-engine in real-time and could very well answer the question of whether Godot is good for 3D development. The visuals are as mind-bending as something from a Remedy game.
Psych Rift is an action-adventure set in a secret research facility overrun by a dark entity. You must survive reality-breaking encounters and terrifying monsters while solving physics-based puzzles. The developer has longer demos available on their YouTube channel if you're interested:
Also, if you're a Godot user, Godot 4.6 just arrived with a new theme, flexible docks, default Jolt Physics, revamped IK, better reflections, and more.
