Impressive Real-Time Rain Simulation Set Up in Blender

Rahul Parihar made sure the collision works well in this one.

We're back with another awesome rain simulation, this time made in Blender by visual artist Rahul Parihar. On X/Twitter, he demonstrated how well the collision works in the project (it works really well, the droplets hit objects and slide down the way they're supposed to.)

Geometry Nodes worked their magic one more time in this one, creating a nice realistic effect.

If you want it for your own works, you're in luck. The simulation will soon be available in a free update for Parihar's Komikaze – a collection of shaders, materials, effects, demos, and general assets for artists that want to explore comic and cartoon styles.

Each material comes with its own master node to easily control colors, textures, and effects. Komikaze v2 is expected to launch soon, and the price will jump from $40 to $45. However, existing users will get it for free, so consider purchasing the collection now.
