With built-in ray tracing hardware, graphics acceleration, and machine learning capabilities, the cards are meant for professionals.

Intel has unveiled its Arc Pro GPUs designed for professional workstations and laptops. Desktop Intel Arc Pro A40 and A50 and a mobile A30M have built-in ray tracing hardware, AV1 hardware acceleration, and machine learning capabilities.

The Arc Pro A40 will be launched in a small single-slot form factor with 3.5 teraflops of graphical power, eight ray-tracing cores, and 6GB of GDDR6 memory. The bigger Pro A50 has 4.8 teraflops of performance, eight ray-tracing cores, and 6GB of GDDR6 memory, all in a dual-slot form. Both desktop cards have four Mini DisplayPorts.

The A30M is similar to A40 but has 4GB of GDDR6 memory.

These cards are meant for content creators using the full power of their GPU in programs like Blender, HandBrake, Premiere Pro, and DaVinci Resolve Studio and include support for compatible AI tools with their built-in dedicated AI acceleration.
