Maxence Simar presented a mysterious 3D environment featuring a Gothic door inspired by Elden Ring, surrounded by a dark atmosphere befitting FromSoftware's hit game.
"As an Elden Ring fan, I wanted to capture the sense of decayed reverence and mystery often found in FromSoftware’s worlds, while pushing my skills in modular asset creation and shader blending," Simar shared.
The scene was created using ZBrush, Blender, Substance 3D Painter, DaVinci Resolve, and Unreal Engine, with fully dynamic lighting and an automatically blended landscape material.
