Iron Galaxy Studios Drives Fans Crazy with Hope with One Fallout: New Vegas Image
Everybody wants a remaster.
Obsidian
Fallout: New Vegas has seas of fans, who got a new dose of hopium over the weekend, when Iron Galaxy Studios posted a "Please Stand By" image from the game with a note: "Today’s our February company meeting. It’s time to catch up with what the company’s been up to and what’s coming up next for IG."
The screen made players believe, or at least hope, that the studio is working on a New Vegas remaster or remake, which wouldn't be that crazy, as it has helped with Fallout 4 VR and Fallout 76.
Still, I wouldn't get too excited: this is most likely just a screen that fits the context and ties it nicely to Iron Galaxy's contributions to the Fallout universe.
But if Bethesda did decide to release a remaster of the iconic RPG, it would definitely please both sides: players are hungry for NV content, especially since Season 2 of the Fallout TV show, and Bethesda would for sure appreciate the money it would get – just look at Oblivion.
What makes people wonder, however, is Windows Central's Jez Corden saying that a Fallout: New Vegas remaster was in development back in November. Moreover, Todd Howard himself revealed that several Fallout titles were in the making, with Jordan Middler, a journalist at VGC, adding that there's a Fallout project "we're all wanting" being created.
All of this makes you wonder if the rumors are true, and Iron Galaxy is the studio behind it.
