Jesse Miettinen Demonstrates Grunge Generator On Furniture Assets

"Although it is meant for buildings, it sure can automate your smaller texturing as well."

Jesse Miettinen showcased a test of his grunge generator applied to furniture assets, potentially part of his "The Last of Us-style" Blender toolset. You can see that the setup includes parameters for streaks, edges, ground effects, and moss, all controlled per object while using a single shader that reads those values.

He tested the system to see if it works on smaller-scale assets, and it sure does. He also noted that he was inspired by RE3MR's assets for Road to Vostok, which entered Early Access just last week.
