Major Update Released For This Three.js Ocean Rendering System
Dan Greenheck launched Three.js Water Pro V3.
We're big fans of water simulations on this site, and if you are too, you may have already seen our article on Dan Greenheck's Three.js Water Pro, a complete ocean rendering solution built specifically for Three.js WebGPU.
The developer has now released Three.js Water Pro V3, the most advanced update yet, focused on both feature depth and visual quality. Highlights include a completely overhauled wave simulation and lighting system, multiplayer-ready deterministic behavior, persistent wave-crest foam, sea spray emitters, rain effects, and much more.
If you aren't familiar with Three.js Water Pro, it offers GPU-accelerated wave simulation, physically based shading, dynamic multi-layer foam, buoyancy physics, underwater effects, caustics, multiple LODs, and eight environment presets, basically everything you might need.
