Master Creating Stylized Environments in UE5 with This Tutorial Course

The comprehensive guide by FastTrackTutorials will walk you through the entire workflow.

If you're interested in learning how to build stylized environments, take a look at this in-depth tutorial course by FastTrackTutorials, which will guide you through crafting appealing stylized scenes for games and cinematics using Unreal Engine 5.

The mentor is Justin Wallace, a Freelance 3D Artist and 3D Art Instructor in the games industry with over five years of experience. The tutorial is based on the stunning Ghibli-inspired work by John Wallin Liberto, Lead Concept Artist at Naughty Dog.

The course features over 14 hours of content divided into chapters and will provide you with a solid foundation in environment art workflow on the example of a practical case, which you can add to your portfolio.

During the learning process, you will practice and deepen your knowledge in modular modeling, procedural texturing, prop sculpting, color theory, creating stylized foliage, level art and composition, advanced shader creation, and lighting.

Modeling will be done in Blender, with foliage created using the Treebox add-on. Materials will be crafted with Substance 3D Designer and Paintbox 2, while foliage cards will be drawn in Photoshop. For prop sculpting, you will use ZBrush, along with Substance 3D Painter for texturing. The shading, lighting, and rendering will be done using Unreal Engine 5. The modeling and sculpting process in Blender and ZBrush can be replicated in any 3D software of your choice. The same applies to tasks completed in Photoshop, as you can use any drawing tool.
