McDonald's Japan Released New Ad Inspired By Bad Apple!! Animation
It's to promote the limited-time spicy chicken nuggets.
Finally, some good news after the AI-generated horror McDonald's Netherlands unleashed this holiday season. McDonald's Japan, long known for its creative marketing campaigns, has released a fully animated commercial inspired by the iconic Touhou Project's Bad Apple!! animation, promoting its new limited-time menu offering.
The project was handled by independent animator Gensho Yasuda, whose work we previously featured on 80 Level. Below are some behind-the-scenes looks at the Black Pepper!! production process, including work done in Blender:
