New Blender Pack For Sci-Fi Retro Anime-Inspired Art Is Coming

You can apply to join cgchefs' alpha testing group.

Last year, cgchefs gained a lot of attention for their fantastic animations created using a custom pack inspired by sci-fi retro anime, which was promised for public release. Development on the pack has been ongoing, and the first teaser has now been revealed, showcasing the Retro Bloom node for the Compositor.

This giant mecha model is reportedly set to be part of the pack's main showcase scene, and the pack is said to include not only Compositor nodes, but also "a large quantity of models, shaders and presets to play with":

Right now, the developers are preparing everything for alpha testers, and you can apply using this form. They are looking for testers with various levels of experience with Blender.
