Nice Cloth Simulation Made for Co-Op Retro Horror Game with Wizards

You'll need to yap to play YAPYAP.

Louis-Philippe Desjardins, one of the developers behind YAPYAP, an upcoming co-op horror game with retro vibes where you play as a wizard, showcased the smooth cloth simulation he created for the title. It flows just as any wizard's attire is supposed to – magically.

This animation was taken from the Magica Cloth 2 pack for testing, but the fabric will move just as well, if not better, in the game under an animator's watchful gaze.

In YAPYAP, you and up to 5 of your friends are wizard minions who go into an archmage's tower to vandalize it.

"Break their piano, clog their toilets, pee on their rug - do anything in your power to ruin the archmage’s day. Every inconvenience you create gives you more points towards your vandalism target for the night."

You can do this by casting spells. Yes, actually saying them out loud. Be sure you pronounce them right, or terrifying creatures will quickly cut the spells short. As well as your life.

Wishlist YAPYAP on Steam and follow Desjardins on X/Twitter to see the progress.
