Nominees of the Autodesk AREA Artist of the Year Program

The 12 nominees of the Autodesk AREA Artist of the Year Program have been announced! The project is dedicated to the talents who are pushing the boundaries of their medium, their innovative workflows, and creativity.

“The Artist of the Year (AOY) will be announced in July and will be selected from the twelve Artist of the Month recipients who have been highlighted leading up to the AOY announcement (running from June 2018 – May 2019).”

It is worth noting that nominations for this event are evaluated by a panel of judges, who are both internal and external professionals.”The voting ratio will be 70/30, with 70% of the vote coming from the AREA community and 30% of the vote coming from the panel,” noted the team.
