SciePro presented an impressive project.
Artists from SciePro have presented an anatomically accurate animated heart model created with ZBrush, 3ds Max, Blender, and V-Ray.
To achieve a realistic result, SciePro gathered a lot of references, including 3D scans, MRIs, photo libraries, and more. 3D artist Eugene Pozdniakov then sculpted the heart in ZBrush using the Geometry HD setting. He went to Blender next to create the heart’s cross-sections and retopology. An actual doctor was consulted to make sure everything was where it was supposed to be.
Pozdniakov utilized a UDIM UV pipeline to texture the project and 3ds Max for unwrapping. SciePro’s founder, Sebastian Kaulitzki, was responsible for the setup, materials, and lighting, using V-Ray for rendering. Finally, the animation was made with 3ds Max.
This anatomically accurate heart could help many medical specialists in various areas of the field. For 3D artists, it's a great way to improve their skills.
