Balatro, the hit poker roguelike game has achieved a remarkable milestone of 1 million copies in less than a month since its launch on February 20, 2024. This impressive accomplishment was announced on Balatro's official account with a creative GIF of playing cards spelling out 'Thanks a Million,' hinting at 'fun things' to come.

With a staggering revenue of $1 million amassed in just 8 hours since its release, the game’s extraordinary journey continues. Despite a brief withdrawal from several stores over its age rating, Balatro's success has primarily been fueled by positive word-of-mouth. 97% of almost 19,000 reviews have given it a 'positive' rating on Steam

Adding to the excitement, the developers have confirmed that Balatro is set to be ported to mobile devices. This eagerly anticipated move will allow fans to transition their gameplay from PC and console to devices like iPads.

Other than that, LocalThunk, the game's developer, revealed during a recent Reddit AMA that they're actively developing a Daily Challenge mode.
