Procedural Embroidery Material Created with Substance 3D Designer
Looks incredibly photorealistic.
Have a look at this beautiful digital embroidery unveiled by 3D Artist Zhang Xiaomeng. It's impressive that the work looks photorealistic and indistinguishable from a lifelike photo.
The artist focused on a decorative and textile-focused material type and crafted a set of embroidered fabric materials. The material was created in Substance 3D Designer without any external texture resources, with the final rendering handled in Blender. The artist noted that the piece felt quite different from their usual work, but that they enjoyed the process.
