Provençal-Style House Builder for Houdini
Luka Croisez shared a great tool that turns a base mesh into a high poly house.
Customization is hard, especially if you need a bunch of similar (but different!) houses for your 3D scene. 3D artist Luka Croisez solves this problem with his cool Provençal-style house maker developed in Houdini for his graduation film, "Paumo D'Amour".
"It's as simple as shown in the video: you input a basemesh (can be situated at any coordinates in the 3D space), then the HDA takes care of everything to give you back a high poly house, with the exact shape you did input, then export it with groups, UVs and hierarchy to Maya. Then procedural shading takes care of everything."
