Fabrice Bourrelly shared a quick behind-the-scenes look at the way he set up his nice photographic bokeh effect inside Unreal Engine. No raytracing involved, so it’s all about playing with settings.

Again, the video doesn’t feature any NVIDIA’s latest advancements, no “RTX ON”, so the artist just played with parameters in Unreal Engine 4.21. The interesting fact is that you can actually have this realistic effect in real time without heavy performance loss.
