Thomas Schreiter captured the actor's likeness extremely well.
Let us take a moment to enjoy the beauty of 3D in Thomas Schreiter's impressively realistic portrait of actor Willem Dafoe.
The model was sculpted in ZBrush, textured in Substance 3D Painter, and rendered with Maya's Arnold. All the little details, like wrinkles and pores, were made by the artist's hand, without any photo textures.
The hair is an especially fascinating part of the render: the tiny hairs were created with XGen.
