Renowned Artist Teases a New Highly-Realistic 3D Character Animation

Şefki Ibrahim's OC Aria is set to make a comeback in the creator's new project.

Şefki Ibrahim, a well-known Character Artist and Animator whose mind-blowing works have been featured numerous times here on 80 Level, is building anticipation for his upcoming project, offering a sneak peek at his new lifelike 3D character animation with a short teaser demo.

Depicting Aria, the creator's Antonia Thomas-inspired original character first demonstrated back in 2022, unable to hold back tears, the new sequence certainly does not disappoint, delivering the impeccable level of photorealism we have come to expect from Şefki's artworks, rivaling the skill of Chris Jones. True to form, the artist employed a combination of ZBrush, Maya, and Arnold to sculpt expressions, animate, and render the character.

As mentioned before, the showcased animation is still work-in-progress and will be further refined and polished going forward. We highly encourage you to follow Şefki on Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram so as not to miss the complete project's reveal.
