Respawn Is Seeking Specialists to Work on Star Wars Jedi

Artists and writers are needed.

Respawn Entertainment is looking for talent that would like to work on Star Wars Jedi. In particular, the studio needs Principal Game Writers, Senior VFX Artists, and Senior Technical Sound Designers.

Founded in 2010 by the original creators of the Call of Duty Franchise, Respawn was created with the philosophy that when talented people have creative freedom, they'll make extraordinary games that achieve the unexpected. From our roots as an indie studio to joining the expansive roster of studios at Electronic Arts, this remains our guiding principle. We truly love what we do and want to share our passion with players worldwide.

Respawn has shipped its fair share of popular games, including Apex Legends, Titanfall, Titanfall 2, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, and Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond.

Earlier this year, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor game director Stig Asmussen revealed that he had always seen Cal Kestis's story as a trilogy: "We had a pretty decent idea of timeframe where we wanted Survivor to take place, what the stakes were going to be, what the tone o the game was going to be, what Cal was going to be up against, and how the crew was going to factor into that. And there's ideas of what we could do beyond that as well."

The company's job listings also mention a Star Wars FPS – the team has been hiring since last year

At the beginning of June, the Star Wars Jedi team lost Aaron Contreras, its Narrative Director, who has also worked on Mafia III, Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, and BioShock Infinite and is now busy at That's No Moon – an AAA studio founded by industry veterans from Naughty Dog, Infinity Ward, Sony's Santa Monica Studio, EA, and Bungie.
