CGMatter, a creator of fantastic Blender tools, has joined the cloth-tearing side of 3D art with their new project.

It's not just a mundane fabric simulation: the artist applied it to the road, which creates a fresh perspective on the motion and makes me think of some awesome post-apocalyptic concepts.
