See How Title Sequence for Daredevil: Born Again Was Created Using C4D

Design studio Perception shared a behind-the-scenes look at the creative process.

Perception, a design studio that worked on multiple renowned projects, such as Captain America: Brave New World, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Black Panther, WandaVision, and more, shared a series of breakdowns of crafting the title sequence for the Disney+ show Daredevil: Born Again.

According to the studio, the opening sequence was intended not just to introduce the episode, but to "reveal the soul of the series." "Less superhero, more man." The studio's artists brought focus to objects that carry emotional weight and contribute significantly to storytelling; they include the broken horn of Daredevil's helmet, the weathered Nelson, Murdock & Page sign, and Kingpin's clenched fist.

To bring gothic and somber images to the screens, the studio's creators utilized ZBrush, Substance 3D Painter, and Cinema 4D.
