Setting Up Advanced Bullet Holes Mechanics in Unity

This cool mechanic was made by Game Developer OMYOG.

Game Developer OMYOG, who is known for developing Project Ferocious, an upcoming survival shooter being created in Unity, unveiled one more astonishing mechanic created for the game. This time, the developer has managed to set up an extremely realistic bullet holes mechanic that allows the player to shoot through thin surfaces and then see right through them. To increase the level of realism, the author also made light rays shine through the holes.

Previously, OMYOG had already demonstrated stunning plant physics and a cool ocean shoreline and wet sand simulations made in Unity. You can learn more about the upcoming game here and follow the development process over here.
