If you go for Unity and Biomes, as you wrote in your article, please do support Vegetation Studio Pro. Your work is awesome, can't wait to see it on the store.

Great breakdown of the process and optimization, thanks for sharing.

This article just not only provides great tools for level design. It's also useful vocabulary to express ideas with our team. https://xbeasts.blogspot.com/2018/12/Remove-Wall-Decals.html

Substance Fundamentals: Color Application

Daniel Thiger has recently shared the fourth part of his Substance Fundamentals series. The new tutorial focuses on a way you can blend and layer on colors to bring our projects to life. The pack demonstrates several examples and explains a number of techniques.

It is also worth noting that the guide covers both hard and natural surfaces. In the end, you will be given an understanding of how to create materials in Substance Designer from start to finish.

Tutorials in the Fundamentals series are great guides to mastering SD from the ground up. They feature some core lessons the artist has learned in his journey. “Essentially, they are a compilation of the resources I wish I had access to when I first started out. Each tutorial contains multiple examples, where I’ll be building from scratch, and narrating each step along the way. The focus is not on building complete materials, but on learning how to use nodes, and how to approach problems,” states Daniel.
