Take a Look at These Beautiful Plant Growth and Flowering Effects Made in Blender
The artist made 220 flowering animation models!
The 3D Artist Laner_2 shared on their ArtStation and YouTube a plant growth and flowering effects they made using Blender, and it looks so mesmerizing and magical.
The artist explained that they've been learning 3D art and Blender for three and a half years.
All of the scenes look so ethereal and like they could be part of a fantasy movie or video game. The flowers look so realistic and colorful.
On their YouTube channel, you can see different videos of their creation process, like this one:
On an ArtStation post, the artist explained that, besides choosing specific flower head shapes, they classified their flower head animations based on 3 petals per layer to 8 petals per layer, and 1 petal to 12 petals per layer.
To then divide the flowering state into petal inward or outward bending, in a clustered or open state, and spacing the petals, or creating a blooming appearance.
This wisteria growth animation is my favorite. It looks so vibrant and lively; it makes me want to sit under that tree.
