Take a Look at This 19th-Century Pastoral Landscape Made in Blender
I'd love to go for a walk there.
The 3D Environment Artist Efe Kekikciler, or Mutanzom3D, shared on ArtStation a landscape study they did with Blender.
The artist explained that they were inspired to make something like a 19th-century painting. They reused and adjusted a water shader they made for a previous render.
Kekikciler mentioned that they textured and rendered it with Blender, the ivys were made in SpeedTree, and the post-processing was done with Photoshop.
The environment looks very lively, and I definitely can imagine this in a 19th-century story. It made me think of the Tess of the d'Urbervilles novel by Thomas Hardy.
The artist shared a progress video on Instagram:

Take a look at other projects made by Efe Kekikciler, like the recreation of Belgrad Forest, İstanbul, which also looks very realistic and detailed, the Are We There Yet?, which was a project focused on design and lighting, or the A Bohemian Summer environment, which they made aiming to capture a peaceful afternoon in a 16th-century rural farm.
