Take A Look At This Cinematic Houdini Popcorn Simulation

Gahui Han and Fabian Strube revealed a new personal project, accompanied by a quick breakdown of making it pop quite literally.

Senior 3D Artist Gahui Han and 3D Generalist Fabian Strube created this perfect popcorn advertisement with amazing attention to detail and approach to the popping corn geometry using ZBrush, Substance 3D Painter, After Effects, RealityCapture, and Kiosk Library. 

According to Fabian Strube, he used AMD Ryzen 9 3950X and GeForce RTX 3090. In the past, we showcased another Fabian Strube's simulation work done in collaboration with Gahui Han, who modeled these mouth-watering french fries:
