Emile Drugeon made the rig, and Youen Bouley created the animation cycles.
Emile Drugeon's rig of Khan, Mulan's horse, might make you fall in love with the movie and the whole 3D industry. The rigger presented several cute poses and movements, which were then boosted even further by Youen Bouley in animation cycles.
"This is my first quadruped model that I've both modeled and rigged from scratch. Working on this character has been incredibly rewarding, though it required extensive testing to achieve the result I was aiming for, particularly due to his stylized proportions and anatomy," Drugeon said.
He collaborated with Elouen Poncet Daladoire for the surfacing work "to create a stylized texture approach that would complement Khan's stylized geometry and overall aesthetic."
You will find plenty of stylized models on Drugeon's ArtStation and will even see some familiar faces perhaps.
