3D Artist Ryan Lykos, whose amazing rigs we've shared with you before, unveiled a new Blender setup featuring a shark tail and a peculiar technical solution for visualizing it.
The artist developed a controller that straightens FK chains from the base, using drivers on the MCH layer offset through an expression. This setup produces a different arc in the tail than the basic FK curvature and works particularly well for animating sharks.
