There's something about cats that makes them so loved and inspiring, whether they're causing chaos or just fast asleep. Animator and Designer Jonnap Arts proves it with this abstract Blender artwork.

The artist drew inspiration from their sleeping pet, using its fluid silhouette and orange color as the basis for an abstract composition. The result is a peculiar imaginary setup, slightly reminiscent of an underwater world.

Interestingly, Jonnap Arts was working from a real-life creature rather than a photo. "The little orange dreamsicle was sleeping next to me while I worked," the artist says. "I was too engrossed in the creation process to take an actual reference photo, so I found one that matched nicely afterward."
