This 3D Vampire Granny Model Looks Frighteningly Awesome

Created by Piotr Zielinski using ZBrush, Substance 3D Painter, and UE5.

3D Character Artist Piotr Zielinski continues his series of realistic digital human models by unveiling Vampire Granny, a highly detailed and terrifyingly awesome CG portrait depicting an innocuous-looking old lady who's hiding an insatiable thirst for blood.

Made as a summer break practice project, the model is based on 3D Scan Store's HD Female Head Model 14, with the artist sculpting tons of details on top to turn a generic scan into Count Dracula's beloved ancestor. As for the software, Piotr utilized ZBrush, Substance 3D Painter, Marvelous Designer, XGen, and Unreal Engine 5 to handle the modeling, texturing, and rendering tasks.

And here are some of Piotr's previous 3D character projects, you can check out more by clicking this link:

Back in 2021, the artist also joined 80 Level to tell us more about making an ancient book in ZBrush, explain the texturing method, and discuss the advantages of Marmoset Toolbag. You can read the full interview here.
