Şefki Ibrahim's new project seems to be 90-95% complete.
Let's kick off the new week by checking out the incredible work-in-progress 3D portrait of American comedian and actor Jack Black, being created by the talented Character Artist and Animator Şefki Ibrahim for an upcoming character art course.
Known throughout the entire digital art community, Şefki specializes in crafting photorealistic digital humans, treating us to incredibly lifelike masterpieces every once in a while. Over the past few months, the artist has been working on a realistic 3D recreation of Jack Black, providing regular updates on the project's progress and sharing stunning showcases of the ongoing work.
Recently, the creator unveiled a low-resolution animation test result, embedded above, showcasing the model in motion and suggesting that the project as a whole is nearing its completion. In terms of software, the author has stuck to his usual combination of tools, employing ZBrush, Maya, Arnold, and XGen.

Earlier, Şefki also shared a highly realistic 3D portrait of The Last of Us' main character Joel Miller, based on the likeness of Pedro Pascal, and a stunning recreation of Michael B. Jordan, an American actor known for playing Erik Killmonger in Black Panther and Adonis Creed in the Creed series, and a realistic blinking animation:
