This Blender Add-On Makes You Defend Your Model From Random Attacks

In case your workflow was getting a little too peaceful.

Apparently, we all subconsciously want to bring back the Blender Game Engine, including Hirokazu Yokohara, who's creating a gaming add-on that adds Touhou to Blender. The game can suddenly start at any moment, and if your model gets damaged, its data is permanently deleted. So you'd better defend it. "This way, you can tackle Blender with a sense of tension," the developer commented.

Imagine going to the bathroom and coming back to find your model gone. Even if you're the type to disappear into YouTube halfway through a project, that feels a little too cruel. Would you dare to try it, though?

Here's another "gaming" Blender add-on the developer recently showcased. It flashes and waves in sync with whatever music is playing on your PC, another, shall we say, way to keep you motivated to stick with your project:
