This Car Animation Made for Rampage Rally Challenge Looks Like Real Footage

Check out this stunning work by Ethan Davis and more amazing works submitted for the contest.

3D Artist Ethan Davis unveiled this incredible video featuring a vehicle, impressing the audience with photorealistic rendering, smooth animation, and lifelike camera movements, along with details such as water splashes on the camera lens that enhance the sense of realism.

As shared by Ethan Davis, the artwork was created using Blender, with texturing done in Substance 3D Painter, and took about a week to complete, with nearly 6 hours of work every day. 

This stunning video was crafted for the 3D community challenge, called Rampage Rally, held by 3D and VFX Artist Clinton Jones. From August 1 to August 31, the artists were invited to exercise their skills and creativity and craft an animation based on a template with a sample vehicle performing a high jump from a ramp.
