Have a look at Moonfrost, an upcoming Unity-powered game from Oxalis Games and iterco, which is a beautiful mix of a Stardew Valley-like cozy game and a magical RPG. The game enters Early Access on October 12.

In Moonfrost, an epic magical narrative harmonizes with a cozy life and farming sim in a picturesque village. According to the game's story, a second moon appeared in the sky, triggering constant meteor storms that brought chaos to Earth. Some managed to harness the perilous natural power – Frost Hunters – who also have a mission to rebuild the world, one shard at a time.

While restoring the world and exploring dangerous temples, you can also engage in constructing a house – a cottage, a castle, or a cozy villa – and decorate it, as well as gather resources, grow crops, fish, and cook.

The game has a cast of unique characters and a relationship mechanic. You can befriend them and learn their stories, helping them face their fears and overcome them, while also uncovering your own forgotten past.

The early access build will feature about half of the main storyline and exploration up to Level 19, with 11 NPCs and an option to build relationships up to Level 3. It will also include expanded character customization, a new in-game map, updated tasks and quest tracking, and more. The full release is planned for 2027 on Steam and Epic Games Store.
