This Cute VR Monkey Has Some Strong Character

The Tumblehead studio is full of creative ideas, and simple 3D is not the only medium it can work with. Meet Mr. Macaque, a fun monkey drawn and animated by Jesper Andkjær Poulsgærd in VR using Quill Texture and Houdini lighting.

Tumblehead has not only skills but also a sense of humor. Take, for example, its Turbulence short made with Houdini in collaboration with SideFX.

There is also Freelance, a fun film about a Knight who "deals with themes of resilience, professional frustration, mental health, and work ethic."
