This Game Is Literally Sandbox & Literally Relaxing
Your only goal is to build a nice sand castle.
Over the weekend, a cute game by Fabien Weibel called Sandcastle captured the internet's attention, and it might say a lot about how stressed we all are. The game is the ultimate sandbox experience: you craft sand castles on a tropical shore, with no rush or agenda.
A variety of tools let you gather wet sand, shape towering walls, and carve intricate battlements. The developer promises an authentic experience that feels just like being on a real beach, thanks to realistic water and sand physics. Sand compacts, crumbles, and holds its shape depending on moisture and pressure, while waves flow, pool, and erode your creations.
Unlock different beach layouts, each with its own unique character and charm: there are nine in total. On top of that, the game is full of hidden objects waiting to be discovered and collected.
