Seungmin Kim experimented with Toolbag's latest version, presenting a new outstanding digital character.
Seungmin Kim, a well-known 3D Character Artist specializing primarily in highly-realistic character models and portraits, expands their portfolio by unveiling Starlit Lake, a stunning project depicting a beautiful female elf floating gracefully atop the lake's deep teal waters.
For this project, Seungmin explored the capabilities of the recently released Marmoset Toolbag 5, which introduced major baking, texturing, and rendering improvements, employing the software's updated tools to render the character and her Ornatrix-made hair. Additionally, the creator utilized 3ds Max, Substance 3D Painter, and Marvelous Designer to model and texture the character and set up her dress.
Previously, the artist also showcased a stunning 3D recreation of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners' Lucy and shared a closer look at ANA, an Unreal Engine-powered digital human created by Krafton for their music video "Shine Bright":
