This Motion Design Clip Made in Blender Shows Artist's Workspace
Check out a new imaginary 3D world from ViscousRealm.
3D Artist ViscousRealm shared a work that is a remarkable example of motion design crafted in Blender.
The clip opens with a work-in-progress shot of the Blender viewport, showing the intricate motion path laid out for the blocks, and then moves to the final version, playing with the social media interface.
According to ViscousRealm, the curves aren't planned out in advance but built one at a time in a free-flowing process. Each object then gets animated along its curve with just two keyframes, from point A to point B, so ten curves mean twenty keyframes total. The artist shares that it was a repetitive and tedious process, done without any plugins.
