This RPG Will Have You Exploring the Surreal Worlds of Hieronymus Bosch
Do you imagine yourself walking in The Garden of Earthly Delights?
Hieronymus is an action RPG that was announced at Future Games Show during Gamescom. It's a title that will let you explore the most iconic paintings by Hieronymus Bosch, who was a Dutch painter known for his surreal, fantastical artworks.
You'll play as Helena van Aken, and you'll use medieval weapons and alchemy to discover the secrets behind her family and their relation to otherworldly powers, while having the famous magician Dr. Georg Faustus as your companion.

The game will also allow you to visit the painter's house and use alchemy to stun creatures, lure them away, or influence their behavior and use them to your advantage.
The developers have shared on Twitter/X some of the creatures you'll find in the game. Check them out:
Seeing games inspired by or recreating famous paintings is not new, but one that could take you to Bosch's macabre depictions of hell sounds interesting and entertaining.
Hieronymus doesn't have a release date yet, but you can add it to your wishlist on Steam.
