3D Animator Gogan shared a quick but valuable tip on character animation, focusing on foot planting and weight shifting.

The artist explained that the foot must make contact with the ground before the body transfers its weight to the other side, as this planted foot is what keeps the character balanced and prevents the movement from looking like the character is about to fall over. According to the creator, it is one of the fundamental rules of body mechanics.
