This Striking Spaceship Blender Animation Has Retro-Futuristic Vibes
It's another impressive work by Rui Huang.
Rui Huang is an artist known for creating mesmerizing space scenes full of beauty and detail. This time, the artist shared a video showing a spaceship flying in circles and then doing it in a vertical position.
It was made using Blender's Eevee, and it's an animation that, every time you look at it, you find more details, like huge planets in the corners and what looks like rings of some sort of alien technology.
The colorful tail behind the ship helps create a sense of motion, and the scales of the planets and other elements give the idea that this ship is smaller than others the artist has made.
Check out another project made by Huang that we featured, which is a giant spaceship built with entire planets:
Rui Huang usually uses Blender's Eevee to create projects with very cinematic visuals. Another one we shared in the past is Earth 2133, which is a megastructure with a lot of detail and smooth movement.
Take a look at other space projects we have shared in the past, like Adam Swaab's interview about his nebula experiments crafted using Houdini or Andrian Luchian's 3D model of a spaceship created with MoI3D, Keyshot, 3ds Max, and Photoshop.
