An Environment Artist Pedro Damasceno has released several tips and tricks that will help you get better at Substance Designer. According to the author, he took advantage of the #Mayterials hashtag to study Substance Designer a bit more and create bases that could aid in the production of handpainted textures.
"The idea was to produce 1 material per day and learn at least 1 thing per day, to help new users of Substance Designer I will put some small tips that can demystify the complexity of the program," comments Pedro. "Each render is using only Diffuse and Height. These were made entirely in Substance Designer and rendered in Marmoset Toolbag 3."
