Am I tripping? I Always thought "pixel art" was based on those 8-bit old games, with hard pixels and little shapes to form scenes. THis is NO PIXEL ART in my conception, but mere digital images.

Tutorial: Layers, Masks, and Generators in Substance
23 April, 2018

The UIW 3D Animation and Game Design channel on YouTube shared a new guide to working with layers, masks, and generators inside Substance Painter. The tutorial shows a way of mixing Substance Painter 2018.1 and Maya 2018, so take some time to learn painting tricks.

Using Substance 2018.1 and Maya 2018, this tutorial shows how to prepare a model for painting in Substance Painter, and how to use Masks in ways beyond manually painting. Specifically, we look at Generators as a masking tool.
