Ghislain Girardot, a 3D Artist and an expert on all things digital water, has released a new tutorial that will help you make your Unreal Engine 5-made liquids look even more realistic. This time, the creator provided a breakdown of Evan Wallace's technique for creating caustics, explaining how to set up a real-time caustics shader in UE5 using the DDX/DDY partial derivatives, showing how the materials for the shader were set up, and more. Additionally, the author has shared the shader's project files, which are available for free via Ghislain's Patreon.
