Tutorial: Rock and Grass Material for Games in Substance Designer

Kalyson shared a procedural approach to creating game textures using Substance Designer.

Material artist Alysson Soares from Aquiris Game Studio shared another video where he demonstrates his workflow for rock and grass material production using Substance Designer. In the video, you’ll find out how to make a texture from a scratch, starting from rocks shapes and their placements and finishing with mixing rocks and grass details to create a believable look.

As a side note, Alysson kept his graph clean and organized, so his workflow with it might come in handy for those who are new to the procedural approach and just started working in the software.
