Tutorial: Setting Up Procedural Environment Interactions in Unity

iHeartGameDev's Nicky Boccuzzi has shared the first part of the long-awaited eight-part tutorial series on recreating environment interactions from AAA titles.

Six months after the initial announcement, Software Engineer and Game Developer Nicky Boccuzzi from the iHeartGameDev YouTube channel has finally released the first part of the long-awaited eight-part tutorial series on setting up procedural environment interactions.

With this series, the developer aims to demonstrate how the procedural environment interactions from popular AAA third-person games are made, as well as show how to recreate them with Unity. The first tutorial in the series, titled "Intro and FAST Character Setup", covers the most important concepts of procedural animation and explains how to make a character with the core components, which will later be used to set up the interactions.
